Dr. Claudio Roscini is senior researcher in the Nanostructured Functional Materials group. His research focuses on the design of photofunctional nanomaterials and devices for advanced applications, bridging the design of novel optical nanomaterials at the stage of fundamental research (TRL 1–3) to the development and validation of functional solid-state prototypes (TRL 4–6) with clear potential for technology transfer and commercialization. By combining fundamental materials science with supramolecular chemistry, engineering and device integration, he aims to accelerate the transition of innovative concepts into real-world applications.
